Hi, I'm Makenna, the founder of Kenna Marie Collective.
My love for design comes from a genuine appreciation for beautiful spaces and the way they can influence how we live, gather, and connect with one another. I have always been drawn to the details that make a space feel special, whether that's an interesting material, a meaningful piece of furniture, or a combination of old and new.
I'm currently completing my degree in Interior Design at The Ohio State University, while gaining hands-on experience working in high-end residential design. Through my work, I've developed a growing appreciation for the craftsmanship, creativity, and collaboration that go into bringing a space to life.
Travel has also played a large role in shaping my perspective on design. I've had the opportunity to study and work abroad in Florence and Prague, where I gained a deeper appreciation for architecture, history, and the ways different cultures approach design. These experiences continue to inspire the way I think about materials, spaces, and the stories they tell.
I created Kenna Marie Collective as a way to share my passion for interiors and help others create spaces that feel uniquely their own. My approach is centered around thoughtful selections, personal details, and finding a balance between beauty and everyday living.
To me, the most meaningful spaces are the ones that feel collected over time, reflect the people who inhabit them, and make you feel right at home.
